Farmtopia is a lighthearted business management game, created for play on Nintendo DS. Through a straightforward stylus and touch-screen interface, players plot land, plant seeds, tend fields, and harvest crops. Virtual farmers can also take on chickens, cows, pigs, and other animals, providing shelter and feed, seeing to their care, and profiting from the milk, eggs, and other goods they produce. Profits earned from the animal products and harvests from well-tended fields can be used to purchase additional plots and livestock, and tools and equipment to help the farm run more efficiently. Stylized graphics and cute, cartoonish characters reinforce the game's cheery theme.
